ADHD @ Work Series

Real-Life Strategies for Real Jobs

If you’ve ever wondered how ADHD shows up in different careers—or how to actually thrive with it on the job—you’re in the right spot. I’m CJ, founder of Ways 2 Work Coaching (and proud ADHD-er myself). I created this series to share honest, practical tips for folks in some of the toughest, most fast-paced roles out there.

Each post dives into a specific job (starting with Construction Managers, Operations Managers, and Supply Chain Managers), the ADHD challenges that come with it, and real strategies that actually work.   Plus, you’ll spot my trusty mascot Samson along the way, because who doesn’t need a little encouragement?

Want me to cover your job next? Drop a comment or send me a message! Ready to dive in? Check out the PDFs below.

ADHD @ Work PDF Files

How to Listen to PDFs Using Microsoft Edge

Want to listen instead of read? Here’s how you can use Microsoft Edge’s built-in “Read Aloud” feature to listen to any PDF:

  • Open Your PDF in Microsoft Edge

Right-click your PDF file and choose “Open with” > “Microsoft Edge.”

Or, drag and drop your PDF into an open Edge browser window.

  • Start Read Aloud

Once your PDF is open, look for the “Read Aloud” button at the top (it looks like a speaker           with sound waves).

Click “Read Aloud.” Edge will start reading the text aloud from the top of the page.

  • Control Playback

Use the on-screen controls to pause, skip, or change the reading speed and voice.

You can also click anywhere in the PDF to have Edge start reading from that spot.

Tip: This works on both Windows and Mac versions of Edge!
